What did I miss?

seems like only something with my domain is wrong....I mean when i go to http://my_ip/~user it works just fine, but why directadmin dont redirect domain.com to the account

Check to make sure that the IP# set up for your domain in DirectAdmin is the same IP# you've got set up in DNS.

Make sure you don't have anything referring to this domain in your local (desktop) hosts file.

If you'd give us the real domain name it would be easier to troubleshoot.

i believe that it has something to do with router that my server is behind, but i am not sure what...ports are open

is there anything special i should do to make it work behind router?

when i changed IP for my internal 11.22.33.44 then everything worked - but only for my network and i need to make it work not only in my own network but EVERYWHERE, any ideas guys ?

You've confused me with your talk of private IP space; DirectAdmin cannot run in private IP space.

is the main IP# for your server 1.2.3.4? If so, is it a shared IP#? Or is that the IP# dedicated for your site?

Are you using a secure cert for the site? Or not?

Is the site set in DirectAdmin to run at 1.2.3.4?

From here I see your site properly when I set my browser to http://1.2.3.4/~domain/ and I also see it properly at http://domain.com/ .

Hello,

I fixed it, there problem was/is: since I am behind router I cannot use my IP in named. I added account with router's IP and it worked. The only problem is that now I have to run dns server on other machine and I have to add zone to dns 1st to server where named is working and then domain will work.

Maybe there is other solution?

[ to admins: could you please remove my domain, thank you ]

What domain?

you can edit your posts by using the edit button on each post (i'm sure users have that.. :D )

Edit: removed your domains / ips from the postings (assuming thats what you meant)
