SSL verify error

Hello,

I have one ssl on the server on exim.
Ik have the ssl on wpcloud02.nl

Username:​	[email protected]
Password:​
IMAP Server:​	wpcloud02.nl
SMTP Server:​	wpcloud02.nl

but when i email i see in the logs this error.

SSL verify error: certificate name mismatch:

How can i solve this?

Can you provide the full error message?

From a higher level without seeing the full error, the error itself means that you made an SSL connection and the server you connected to returned a cert that was signed for a different hostname.

Now trying to bring it to a lower level, Dovecot SNI will be signing for the mail subdomain and not the root domain. So if you're connecting to the root domain over IMAP/POP it stands to reason that you won't be served a cert signed for the matching hostname.
