standard email adres

DirectAdmin produces a standard email adres:
[email protected]

I do not use that adres.
Is it a problem?
Should I empty it once and a while?
What's the use of that adres (I find it tricky to use because it has my inlogname = username)?

An email address and ftp account is created for each new account by the Operating System so you can't delete them.

If you really didn't want to use that address you could block/reject all email to it using the spam filter or forward all email to null among other possible solutions.

What I'd do is also create a forward for it, to forward the email to some other account you do read.
