start directadmin service

I made a silly mistake by stopping diirectadmin service from cp>(monitor services) and now cannot connect to DA. how can I enable it back on.

thanks for your reply tomtom...however for some reason today I tried to log in again to DA CP and it worked...without me even doing what you prescribed.
pretty strange! oh well as long as it is back on....

Edit:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/services.status

you'll want to ensure it's ON.

When you start/stop a services via "Services Monitor" in DA, this will update the services.status file to ON/OFF.
