stop receiving email with forwarding enabled

I am trying to enable forwarding on a User hosted splash page. The email is generic and to be forwarded to a primary email account. There is no MX records setup, A Records pointing to DirectAdmin IP. Email can be sent or received in Roundcube. As soon as forwarding is enabled mail can not be sent or received in Roundcube. Disabling and Roundcube can exchange email again.

Modify MX Records -> Use this server (checked)--->Local Default --> Affected Pointers (checked) [works without forwarder]

Yes, I figure Gmail might have something to do with this. The end-user will be the client's email, so I'm trying to test with Gmail first. Any ideas appreciated as to why forwarding is producing the error....

Your message wasn't delivered to ****@domain.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
 
Solved the problem, went through logs, and found `rejected RCPT`. Turns out I was trying a domain also hosted on DirectAdmin but did not have an email set up for it. Tried a different Gmail address and worked perfectly fine.
 
Good job that you found a solution! Now if you put this post as `Solved` it might trigger happiness for other people who are looking for the same issue as yours. You can edit the first post and change the title to 'Solved'
 
@MaXi32 I think the current solution is good. Why using an addon for Xen when you can do the same via user levels? They limit some options of new users to prevent too much abuse from spammers.
So in this case there is no reason for improvement, because it works like designed.

If you have more posts, you can edit any post you like, so also the first one, and then change the prefix to solved. No nead for a mod. ;)
