At the beggining of that post I must say that I am familiar with computers and IT in general , and I tried a lot of things to solve my problem..... with no effect It is why I am posting here.

My OS :
Windows XP SP2

Hardware :
Barton 2500+
256 ddr Hynix
ATI 9550
Serial ATA Wester Digital 120 gb hard drive

Here is the problem : few days ago wierd things started to happen - my IE started to automaticaly jump forward hitting at the end "no such page " error or just reporting that I shold contact with my ISP , system in general from time to time is slowing down, Media PLayer reports "not enough resources" communicates , hard drive responds very slowly , for example I open the folder and there is only half of files listed , system is nearly crushing , and then after a minute everything is ok and the files are "back".

I remember once I noticed wierd communicate about possible infection from my KAV , but i ignored it , becouse a few weeks ago I had recieved similiar report and nothing happened.

I use KAV with latest databeases, i searched system with Ad-Aware , tried hijackthis , i cleaned everything i knew was wrong manually but system is still not working fine.

If somebody experienced similiar problem , please help !! I dont want to reinstall my XP.

This forum is not a forum for problems with Windows desktop systems.

It's a forum for Linux servers running DirectAdmin to host websites.

You couldn't be in more wrong a place.

You need to find a Windows XP forum.
