su feature for root da login

Hello,

root、resller and gereral users use the same path http://domain:2222 to login da,

if find it is dangerous,

da may create a feature like "su" does,


the staff must login as a user,

and system will redirect the special user to another page,

and let the special user to login with root level's name and password,

i think it will be more safe....

One thing you may want to look in to is switching DirectAdmin to use SSL instead of plain text.

You can set up DirectAdmin to allow secure logins on one port number, and insecure logins on another port number.

I suppose you could implement Java Script on a custom login page to to point admin on the insecure screen to redirect to the secure login.

Or even use Java Script to automate the switch to secure and the login.

We use LogicBoxes software for domain registration; that's what they do.
