sub.domain.com to newdomain.com

Hi I have a buddy that was using a sub domain of my site and has since purchased his own domain name and would like me to set it up so that it gets pointed to where his site is.

My question is can I point his domain to sub.mydomain.com or do I need to create a new site for him and move his information?

Did you create sub.domain.com as it's own site or as a subdomain of your own domain?

If the latter, you'll have to recreate.

If the former you can rename the site, but you and he will still have the same ftp login, so you might still want to recreate it.
