sub domain not work

Hi, i create a subdomain shop.webamax.fr
If i go to www.webamax.fr/shop/ i look the index.html file but if i go to http://shop.webamax.fr is not good ?
Why ?
I have a reccord A :
shop A 37.59.4.220
and
www.shop A 37.59.4.220

I don't now where is the problem

I guess it was issue with updating cached records of DNS. For now I'm able to visit both shop.webamax.fr and www.shop.webamax.fr. In both cases I'm redirected to http://webamax.fr/shop/index.php

Why it should not be there?

By default all subdomains are added with www and without www. If you don't like this, you should update your httpd and named templates.
