subdirectory another root from custom httpd conf

Hi,
it's possible to point sub-direcotry to another user public_html direcotry?
it's for better security, to isolate platforms files for different users directory so hacking on one directory will not hack another direcotry since it's in other user "public_html"

If I'm understanding you correctly, you want to use a directory owned by a different user for a subdirectory.

As I see it, to make this workyou'd need to disable DirectAdmin's current protection against one user entering another user's diretories, and also against running scripts by any other user than the owner.

So I don't see how this could possibly increase security.

Am I missing something?

Do you want to do this even if it means dropping important security measures already in place?

You may be able to do it and still maintain security, by building your own ownership-permissions system, but then you better know what yo're doing and not need to ask here .
