subdomain does not exist

I have created a subdomain, but what ever I try, it cannot be found.
What went wrong?
I can acces it as a directory but not as a subdomain.

Was the subdomain created properly in the user's httpd.conf file?

(/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/username/httpd.conf)

You will also want to check Bind's database and make sure the record was created properly there as well.

What version of DirectAdmin are you running and what Operating System?

just create a wildcart subdomain, DA does have bugs on subdomain creation. i always create an A record like *.yourdomain.com to your IP, and it solved all the subdomain problem.

When I try to create a wildcart DA says it is not a valid domain name.
I just typed * as subdomain.

well, it seems that something went wrong with the DNS, so the provider will change it. Thanks for the help!
