Subdomain Doesnt Work

i was trying to create subdomain via direct admin control panel. most of the subdomain work . however when i create a subdomain with the same words which is in domain name . it doesnt work .

for exampel

when i create a2z.themaxsol.com it works

but whenever i create maxsol.themaxsol.com -doesnt work

or the.themaxsol.com - doesnt work

please advice

Any errors? Are you able to ping the domains? Do you have subdomain folders in public_html?

themaxsol.com is not a regsitered domain. Its not going to work at all.

thanks for the reply . that was an example ..actualy i was trying to create subdomain in domain promaxsol.com

if i create subdomain pro.promaxsol.com - it works .. i am able to ping it and i can see the folder in public_html ..

however when i create maxsol.promaxsol.com

or promaxsol.promaxsol.com

none of this works and i am not able to ping them .rather i am not able browse them .

i just dont get it .. whats wrong . why i am not able to create such sub domains ?

My guess is that your DNS is cached (on your or your ISP's computers).

It's working fine, in both instances, for me.
