subdomain outside of public_html ?

Hello,

I have root access to the DA server , I also have another application running on the box besides DA.

I would like to have my sites subdomain point to the html folder in the other applications directory.

Is there any way to do this ?

I know I could just have a redirect page, but then it will be the ip in the address bar.

You could do a zero-frame redirect. Or you could try it with a link instead of a directory.
