Subdomain problem

I have searched the board, but could not find the solution for my problem.

I have made a subdomain name.domain.com
Now I see on several topics about this that people have a problem with the www not working, mine is otherwise.

http://www. name.domain.com works fine
http:// name.domain.com does not work

My records:

ftp A 1.2.3.4
domain.com . A 1.2.3.4
localhost A 1.2.3.4
mail A 1.2.3.4
pop A 1.2.3.4
name A 1.2.3.4
www A 1.2.3.4
www.name A 1.2.3.4

What is wrong here? I have an A record with and without www for the subdomain.

There shouldn't be any problems at all. You've created www.name.domain.com or name.domain.com? If name.domain.com - everything is okay. Just say an exact subdomain address and I will test your DNS settings.

try adding the full subdomain:

name.domain.com. IN A 1.2.3.4
