subdomain problems

I don't have any experience with this. I have never put a site online and I encountered a problem now with my subdomain.
I made a subdomain today, but I do not know where to upload the site for my subdomain and when I type my subdomain into my browser I get an error :

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Any help would be appreciated !

Generally you would upload your subdomain copy into a subdirectory in your public_html directory with the same name as your subdomain.

If that doesn't work for you, then you should probably check with your hosting company.

yes , I had already figured that one out myself lol ..... it is working now .... I suddenly realized that I didn't have an index.html there and that was indeed the reason why I got that error. I had forgotten to rename the site I uploaded.
