subdomain without index.php

hello every one
when i create a subdomain I need to add index.php in the end of the link and so it will work!
without index.php it will not work ..why pls?

example
here..it will not work:
http://www.subdomain.domain.com
now it will work fine:
http://www.subdomain.domain.com/index.php
I want it work without index.php but how?

Check to see if you have a index.html file located in the your subdomains directory. If so remove or rename it.

no index.html file is there but HTACCESS file make the problem!
i removed it to sloved it.
