Subdomains: more users on 1 domain

I have searched this board, but could not find the answer really.

I am an reseller, but this is an issue on userlever.
I have a site where others can sign up for a board. I want to use a subdomain for them.

But when I create a subdomain, nothing else happends. Yes, it is there, but nowhere an option to do something with it.

I want to be able to use and acces the subdomain, create a board on it etc etc.

How can I do this?

A subdomain can be accessed through a subdirectory off the main domain.

If you create a subdomain called "joe" you'll find a subdirectory "joe" in the public_html and the private_html directories.

And then you can create ftp user for that subdomain by assign root folder to subdomain's folder.

Yes KKE you are correct

Off course it you're a reseller you could of course create useraccounts with the subdomain as the primary domain of the useraccount (as long as it's on the same server as the main domain it will work), then they have full control over email, FTP, etc from thier own useraccount

This means that your account will be
example.com
and your useraccounts would be
user1.example.com
user2.example.com
etc.

Thanks guys.

Though shame that it is not possible to do in useraccounts itself, only from resellers account.

But this will do fine, little bit more work, but not so bad.
