Subdomains

Hello,

I have a dedicated server with Centos and Directadmin.

When i add a new user under the reseller account and under domain adminstration of that user account i add another domain. Then if i enter a non existing subdomain then it loads the main domain page.

I don't want this because this gives me alot of duplicate content in the search engines. And my host isn't helping me at all.

Can anyone helps me with that problem.

So i don't want that subdomains that don't exists are showing the main (first site) page of the user account.

If you're using static IP#s you'll get that behavior for any URL that resolves to the IP#.

But the real question is what are you doing with DNS to make any subdomain resolve?

Have you made a change to use wildcard for DNS lookup? If so, then this is an unavoidable consequence. If you're not sure, then post a domain name for which this happens, and also the name of a subdomain for which it happens, and one of us can check for you.
