Hello
Recently I am receiving e-mail from suspended accounts in my root's e-mail box.
I am forwarding my root's e-mail to an apart account for system mail.
I am adding in /etc/virtual/webserver.hostname.com/aliases
the entry:
root: [email protected]
I have done this, because I want to receive all root mail, notices and so on.
This works perfectly. (I really hope its not the cause if this problem)
But I notice that this account (as set in the alias: [email protected])
is receiving the e-mails from suspended accounts.
Suspended accounts are (temporary) removed from the server configuration, apache, exim, dovecot, proftp
but however exim still seems to accept the e-mail and forwards its to my root account.
I should have suspected the e-mail send to a suspended account's e-mail account must be rejected.
This is a problem because the sender doesn't receives a notice the e-mail has not been delivered,
because it will go unread.
Is anyone familiar with this?
Thank you in advance.
