I'm wanting to move from mod_ruid2 to suphp, mainly so that I can run multiple php versions. I have some users who still have OSC 2.2RCa and running php 5.5 is causing them major issues.

To remedy this, I'd like to know what the process would be to move to the above solution.

Any guidance is appreciated!

I'm thinking it would be as simple as setting the fields in options.conf and rebuilding apache and php, but, I'm not sure what I would need to do permission wise for users folders/files and what options would need to be added to the httpd.conf for each domain.

why would you switch to an end of life product that makes absolutely no sense

The answer to your question is in the first two sentences. I need the ability to run php 5.2 for OSCommerce and 5.5 for everything else, mod_ruid does not allow multiple versions of php to run.

I was not aware that suphp was EOL.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
