System backup not running

I recently changed some settings for system backup to move from backing up via FTP to using a mounted remote location.

Since then the cron job schedule for backup has stopped working and is not running every night, I can however manually backup and see the files on the NAS so all the settings are OK it's just not scheduling them (the option to "Use Cron for Backup" is ticked).

Any ideas why this would stop working and where to look for clues?
 
Just take a look at your cron files and I am sure that you will find the problem :)

Well yes there is a problem there in that I cannot find an entry for the backup schedule anywhere.

I had it setup to do a daily backup at 5am in the control panel. This was working fine until I changed from using FTP to a mount point and now it's stopped working and I cannot see it in crontab, cron.d or cron.daily.

Anyone know what the entry should be so I can add it back in manually?
