I'm using the latest version of DA 1.26.6 and I think after the update to .5 or .6 my system information shows two times the Processor Name and Vendor ID for my CPU. Before the last update it showed just one. (Which is right to my opinion :) )

Processor Name Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
Vendor ID GenuineIntel
Processor Speed (MHz) 3059.224
Processor Name Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
Vendor ID GenuineIntel
Processor Speed (MHz) 3059.224
Total Memory 1034672 kB

It is showing two because your CPU has hyperthreading which makes it look like two CPUs though it is only one. Not sure why it did not show it till now though.

Yes i also thought about that. I know it's a HT CPU and yes indeed it is strange that it first showed just one value. If i am using a dual xeon combination i would like to see two values. In this case a single HT CPU i should display as one single value. Has something changed in the detectioning of DA?

How many processors do you see when you run top from the command line?

I don't know, then.

You might ask DA support how they test for processors.

They might use:
Code:
$ cat /proc/cpuinfo
So you should check the output of that as well (pipe it through more or less as it might easily fill multiple screens).
