I use different views in my named.conf file and must always modify it after adding a new domain. Not a big deal with me being the only user..
Is there any parsing ability in the way templates are used?
EG: adding new zones into the proper view insteal of appending them to the bottom of the named.conf.
I've done a little bash and other shell scripting so it wouldn't be a major problem to create a script for my purposes and splice it in somewhere I guess.
But, before I bother, is there anything more complex than 'add line' and 'remove line' already availble I could use to properly position and remove zones from custom views in the named.conf?
Spook
