Temporary Additional Bandwidth

Would be best as a feature request.

Would like to see an option for temporary additional bandwidth per client.

Say, a customer has 20GB limit and has used 19.5GB, the client can then order more bandwidth for the remainder of the month, then when the end of month tally kicks in, it'll get reset too.

What do you guys think.. useful, ok, reasonable feature request?
 
Yes, this would be usefull. We have sometimes customers that want just for 1 month (or more) temporary like 5GB extra traffic.

Default all clients are paying for 12 months, and if a customer want 1 month more traffic we make a invoice for one month traffic and say ignore the 'overuse traffic mail'.

It will take too much work to modify the user, wait 1 month and set it back.

My initial thought was this for the API to communicate with my billing software, so yeah it could be done - but it would need another setting along side the main bandwidth, otherwise how would DA know how much the default bandwidth was for that user when it resets everything.
 
Would like JBMC's views on this feature. How do we know suggested features would be accepted?

Maybe they should add the Roadmap plug-in to vBulletin....

I'm about 1/2 done implementing it:

It's slightly more difficult than anticipated, as we have to factor in Reseller limits when overselling is off, but other than that, it's fairly straight forward. I'm also trying to make it so no skin mods are required, so as to prevent it being broken in older custom skins that are not updated.
