hi,

after i made my site dynamic with Golive, which mean after GoLive upload some files to web server, there's a 'config' folder has been created in 'public_html' folder. when GoLive performed a test for the installation, there's a HTTP error occured.
it indicates as below:
- 'Bad Request'
- your browser sent request that this server could not understand.
-invalid URI inrequest GET :2222 HTTP/1.0
-additionally, a 404 not found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

i don't know what's wrong GoLive couldn't communicate with PHP, pls help...

thx!

Hi,

/config is reserved for redirection to your control panel login. You can change this in the Apache configuration file at /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf .

Look at this thread for a (more) complete description and solution.

but i couldn't even find /etc in my site though, any ideas?
sorry, i'm new in this field..

are you the server admin or are you just hosting.

In the case that you are just hosting a site or a reseller you will need to ask your hosting provider to change this.

i'm currently hosting a site on a server, i've asked the admin, but seems a difficult for them too, he suggested i shall tell GoLive that config must store on others folder except /config..
but i don't know how to do this in GoLive, well, i doubt it GoLive will listen to me.. do u know how to make it?

sorry, don't use golive at all, there might be others that can help you on that.

If your host can't help you, and if GoLive cannot work in another directory, then perhaps GoLive is incompatible with your hosting company. It's certainly not incompatible with DA though; for example we don't implement /config.
