Hi (Running Fedora 6)

I dont have mysql.sock in /tmp directory, however mysql is running. tried to restart, stop then start, killall then restart, rebooting, but it does not create mysql.sock in /tmp

however, there is mysql.sock in /var/lib/mysql/

I dont use my.cnf

and in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf there are only user and pass lines...

what to do? :(
