The service 'httpd' on server *** is currently down

Hello I am getting this message about every hours from my directadmin panel:

The service 'httpd' on server vps.******.net is currently down
This message has been automatically generated notifying you that the service httpd is currently down.

Can anyone tell me what steps I should take in order figure out what the problem is? or is this normal?

Check the apache error log to see whats wrong. You can check in directadmin under log viewer. The file is /var/log/httpd/error_log
