The service 'lfd' on server hp.serviceip.com is currently down

Hi

OS : Centos 6.2 - x64

After install csf, DA Message always warns :

The service 'lfd' on server hp.serviceip.com is currently down

In "ConfigServer Firewall&Security" Section, it has this info on top :

Firewall Status: Enabled and Running (lfd restart request pending)

Please help to fix it

Hello,

I guess you should disable debug (testing) mode and start lfd. But before make sure you've opened all required TCP/UDP ports.

It's already disable But LFD is still Down.

FirewallConfiguraiton -> Testing = 0

Look for this section in the csf.conf file:

 # Enable login failure detection daemon (lfd). If set to 0 none of the
 # following settings will have any effect as the daemon won't start.
 LF_DAEMON = "1"

and try to restart csf.
