The service was started succesfully : undefined

So after running the built-in custombuild 2.0 i got messages proFTPd was down. I rebuilt it and the message stopped. The problem is the service itself refuses to launch. Service monitor states the service is stopped. When i try to manually launch it i get

"The service was started succesfully
undefined"

and the service remains STOPPED.

Seems it was this issue Fix (#2) has been applied. But now getting

Do i need to keep that custom .conf file present? Curious on why this happened in the first place.
