Hi guys

For some reason on all our servers it seems that the theme changed for all users to "Refreshed" theme which I know is the new one. But customers dont like it due to:

1. The theme is not easy to use as they are used to cpanel
2. It does not work well on smaller screens and most customers use 1366x768 it seems even on 1920x1080 it looks weird.

Lastly its just a crappy change and the old "Icon Grid" one us so much easier to use.

How do we change all customers themes globally on servers to Icon Grid. We have it already set as default in Customize Skin option in DA.

Is this what you want?

Hi Richard,

I think doing that does not allow theme to change it, but as its already changed by the server update or something somehow it is now all on refreshed.

Hi Richard,
No that's Brent. I'm Richard. :)
But we both do a lot of helping. Hello to you too.

The page Brent is showing you, you can change it back for every user to the theme and display you want.
If you want your users to be able to change themes themselves, just remove the "Forbid users... etc." selection and all should be fine.

Hi Brent... :)

Just kidding Richard.
You are both so active on here and I was reading other posts that I get the names wrong .

I am sure I tried the forbid options and it didnt change for customers that already had their themes on Refreshed only for new ones it was on Icon Grid. That's why I said what I said.

Left this for quite some time. But today I tried I decided to try a few things and this worked:

perl -pi -e 's/standard2021/grid/' /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/*/skin_customizations/evolution/user_options.json

Looks like I also found where I went wrong. On the Reseller Level I went to customize skin widget there, clicked layout and then changed it there too to forbid and set the correct skin. It seems we look at Admin level and not reseller level and thats where the confusion comes in to play.
