Ok, I own a web hosting company. We're in the process of moving from a Plesk box to a DirectAdmin box. I'm moving domains from one box to another. A few of these are my own personal domains.

I went logged onto our reseller account and created a user for me. During user creation, I designed the domain as kb9uzd.net. After doing this I was immediately able to hit the place holder page, which was a good indication that everything was good to go.

Then I moved over three other domains (captainkarwoski.com, cowmania.com, cowcrazy.com). Now all of the last three resolve to their respective place holder. However, the www.kb9uzd.net domain now resolves to this message:

This IP is being shared among many domains.
To view the domain you are looking for, simply enter the domain name in the location bar of your web browser.

What's funny is that if I remove the www from the domain and just type kb9uzd.net in the address bar of my browser, it works fine. But if I prepend the www. then I'm back to the shared IP message.

I do notice that in the /var/log/httpd/access_log, when attempting to hit the site via the www.kb9uzd.net address, I'm getting 304 errors.

I deleted and re-added the domain, thinking that something might be up with the creation, but that didn't help. There were no errors during domain creation.

I have all four domains assigned to the same shared IP. I've looking through the stock DNS and everything looks good. Even the httpd.conf entries look ok.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Right now, on my desktop system, Bill, both with and without the www resolves to the placeholder page for the domain (nice job changing it by the way).

Thanks! Must be a DNScaching issue then. I looked up 304 in the HTTP RFC, and after looking at it there, I thought that might be the issue.

Thanks again for the assist/confirmation.
