Thunderbird?

I just switched my server over to directadmin. With new ip addresses. I am using thunderbird and now that my server, same domain name, is on a new ip it says the connection times out so no emails. I know there is emails because I can check them via webmail. Any idea's? I there some sort of cache I can clear out?
 
did you use the domain or the ip to reach the mailbox in Thunderbird ?

It might be a dns-update thing that could take a while..
U could check that by closing Thunderbird, and run in Windows (your pc at home) :
cmd
Then in the black window, type:
ipconfig /flushdns

Then try thunderbird again


And with "switching over to DA", you mean you emtied all the data, and installed a fresh DA on it ?
if so there could also perhaps be some different port-settings you were used to on your old control panel.
