Hi,

I'm using mozilla thunderbird and when ever i use a nonadmin account it would give me an error staing "sending of password did not succed. Mail server mail.adrengfx.com Responded: Bad login", but the login is all correct

Exactly what are you trying to do?

What URL are you using?

If for webmail, are you using the entire account name, which is:

[email protected]

or just username?

1. im trying to receive mail with thunderbird but it would give me that error, i can recive the mail fine in squirrel mail but can't in thunderbird.

2. Url? umm www.adrengfx.com?

3. im using the entire account name [email protected]

Sorry, my brain was confusing thunderbird and firefox.

But since we know the email works in squirrelmail, we know the password and the username are correct.

Have you checked to see if thunderbird is passing authentication details? If so, they should be in plain text.

I don't use Thunderbird as my email client, so I can't tell you; perhaps someone else can.

I don't use Outlook or OE either.

I use KMail.

In KMail:

Network | Receiving | Extras

Encryption : None

Authentication : Plain Text
