hi guys

i need to ask about something , is their any way to stop the c99 or any shell script to work on my server ?

my safe_mod is on and open_base_dir is on too

i was try to follow all the tutorials here how to install mode_security when i did i

can't restart my httpd

so i need some help about to protect my server from shell's

and i was try to find a good tutorial how to install jail to the server or not work too

my system is Centos-5-X86_64

can some one help me with this

Disable dangerous php functions. And before you ask how do a google search on it. Plenty of web pages telling you how.

ill not ask how ill ask what is the functions can u share it !

Again a google search will give you a lot of opinions on which ones. One definite is shell_exec. The reason I don't give out much on this is because I forget the exact commands. I have to look it up myself each time. But why not just do what the knowledgebase tells us.
