Hi everyone, I'm having problems receiving emails from outside. The server I handle uses DirectAdmin ver.1.652. My client complained that it couldn't receive email from one domain and after checking the server log the result was TLS error on connection from (SSL_accept): ret 5. There was 1 thread discussing the same problem I was experiencing but there was no solution. please help, has anyone experienced the same problem as me and has the best solution?

Is that booking.com again? If yes, there are multiple threads on that and indeed no solution.
Creating a new thread about the same issue about an active topic this year in this case doesn't realy help.
Please keep it in the original thread:
and remember to read post #5 in there.

The problematic domain is not the booking.com domain but pertamina.com. And I also replied to the thread you mean because none of the solutions worked. Sorry if my English is not good because it is not my native language

Ah oke. I had seen that other reply you made, and due to the way you answered, it looked like it was the same problem, but it was only the same error.

In your case it's also probably some issue at the remote domain. I don't know for sure, but there is a chance. The pertamina.com domain does not have their nameservers correct.

I don't say this is the cause, but it might be related, provided everything is correct on your side.

Maybe that could be the problem, but what makes me confused is that the error is only on server that use DirectAdmin. Server that use cpanel have no problems receiving emails from pertamina.com

Yes if you're sure that people on cPanel are getting mails from them. Because with the booking.com issue it's for sure confirmed that cPanel has the same issue there.

So to me that seems that it's rather either a sender issue or some Exim issue, not a panel issue.
If your system is correct (also in intodns.com) and a mail-tester.com test gives a 10/10 and you check all tips in the other thread, there is at this moment nothing else you can do unless somebody finds a fix or root cause so it can be fixed.

Thank you Richard for your response to this thread. maybe the error is from the pertamina.com server and I have given my client an explanation about this. If there are further developments I will inform in this thread, hopefully there will be a solution
