/tmp/mysql.sock missing

mysql.sock does not exist! How can I get this file? How do I know?

I have tried all the solutions in the forum, but can not find this file.

I had the same problem a while ago but then I had to move the mysql.sock to / tmp folder. But now it has been deleted

Set socket=/tmp/mysql.sock in /etc/mysql.conf and restart MySQL.
