We have enabled tomcat on one of our servers. It's working good so far. We installed a plugin called DA-Tomcat (from daplugin.com) to ease the administration, however so far we still do alot manually as the plugin isn't as customizable as we like (i.e. we cannot modify entry in server.xml, no addondomains are added to a host). Also DA-Tomcat is built for Tomcat 5 and not Tomcat 6 that we use, so that might be some reasons its not working to 100%.
mod_jk is in my httpd.conf (added by da-tomcat)
tried the mod_jk binaries from apache.org
strange thing is if i type http://domain.com:8080/xxx.jsp it works
but http://domain.com/xxx.jsp doesn't
for now, i added proxypass / http://domain:8080/ in httpd.conf as a workaround
