traffic measurement ip/~username

I have one user who hasnt setup my nameserver's on his registrar so I assume his website is been used via the http://ip/~username format, he is currently according to directadmin the highest user of traffic on my server and he recently disputed the usage. The logs in his user panel dont exist I presume because his website isnt been accessed via the domain, so which file is directadmin using to count his traffic? I believe directadmin to be correct as I seen earlier on the mrtg graph a traffic surge and sure enough his usage was the one that went up.

I written of the traffic he used the last time he disputed it as a goodwill measure but I dont want to again so need to find what to show him incase he disputes again.

Traffic for ~username usage is greped out of /var/log/httpd/homedir.log

does it archive old copies of the log somewhere?

When DA runs its tally the homedir.log file should be emptied. I don't think it archives the old data anywhere.
