Tried to install HTTPS with Direct admin

Hi,

I tried to install and configure https/ssl for the :2222 directadmin interface.
Luckily there was this guide: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=15
and i followed the steps for Let Encrypt. Now everything is done but when I go to https://domain.com:2222 it redirects me to the server ip instead to the hostname (for which the certificate was issued.)

So I tried browsing to the host name and it redirected me again to the ip address of the server.

What went wrong? How do I fix this?!

My hostname is https://thor.thisisd3.com:2222 <- that should work

EDIT:
The httpS link does work. But when I go to http://thor.thisisd3.com:2222 redirects to the ip....

Please check the bottom of http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=15. Especially:

Note, as of 1.30.2, you can set the value of the SSL redirect should a User connect to an https connection with plaintext http.
