Hi, I've just started using HD and I'm attempting to install Joomla! 1.5
I've created a subdomain of an established site, uploaded and extracted the files, and created a database on the subdomain for Joomla! to be installed to. The Joomla! instruction manual describes an installation page that should show up on the index.html page on the subdomain to which I've uploaded the files, but instead all I can see is a placeholder page display.
I've followed the steps in the Joomla! manual, the index.html file and associated .php files are all there, but I can't figure out why the installation page isn't displaying. Is there some other action I need to do before the placeholder will go away?
Any help much appreciated.
