trouble with copying email account from server to server

Hi guys,

I was trying to copy my inbox mail from server A to server B with rsync but rsync doesn't seem copying everything even i told it to copy everything.

Server A's Maildir dir:

I run this command:
rsync -r /home/love/imap/mydomain.com/linda.kim/Maildir/* [email protected]:/home/love/imap/mydomain.com/linda.kim/Maildir

After that i go to server B's Maildir dir and see this:
[root@server_B Maildir]# ls -al

My question is where are the folders (Drafts, SuperBowl..etc) ? Are those folder not allowed to be copy ? is there any way that copy everything from server A to server B ? Thanks

May be because they begin with periods. But then again why did the .INBOX ones get moved

Maybe try doing a backup with tar:

tar cvfp /backup/location.tar /home/username/imap

i found out those folders are hidden.
