I just put up a site hesslerstreet.com
The group has their old site at hessler.org which is hosted here.
The only place I found that looked like the right place to point the nameservers is http://hessler.org:2222/CMD_DOMAIN_POINTER?DOMAIN=hessler.org

Where it says "Add New Domain Pointer"
Is that right?
I added ns51.domaincontrol.com and ns52.domaincontrol.com which is what GoDaddy told me to do.

But, the old hessler.org is still displaying the old site (well it has the front page of the new site without any of the image files because I originally thought I was going to put all the file here) but that doesn't make sense any more.

Is there something else I have to do to point the nameservers and have this work?

Thank you for any HELP with this!

Jay

What do you mean by point the nameservers?

The domain hessler.org points to 216.45.48.170, using these nameservers:

ns1.myhostlogin.com
ns2.myhostlogin.com

The domain hesslerstreet.com points to 64.202.163.10, using these nameservers:

ns52.domaincontrol.com
ns51.domaincontrol.com

Do you want to have hesslerstreet.com resolve to the same site as hessler.org? Are ns1.myhostlogin.com and ns2.myhostlogin.com your working nameservers for your server/hosting company? If the answer to both of these questions is yes, then you should add hesslerstreet.com to your control panel as an alias, and change the nameservers at GoDaddy to the myhostlogin.com nameservers.

Do you host with GoDaddy? I doubt it, since they don't run DirectAdmin. If not, then why would you ask them what nameservers to use? Get that information from your hosting company.

You need to get in touch with your host and find out what their name servers are. THEN, you need to login to godaddy and setup your name servers to point to their records.
