Trying to setup SRV in DirectAdmin for Office 365

I have a client that wants to continue to use their office 365 for email which was originally setup through godaddy. They have now switched their website to the host I am using, but want to keep using the 365 for email. So I received instructions from godaddy on how to modify the records to make this work with office 365.

I am on the section where I need to create some srv records. In the image I attached it shows what godaddy is asking me to enter, but it does not line up with what I am able to enter in directadmin. I have seen some posts on how to just manually type in these strings to get it to work with office365:

_sip._tls SRV 1 100 443 sipdir.online.lync.com.

_sipfederationtls._tcp SRV 1 100 5061 sipfed.online.lync.com.

but when I do, I get an invalid DNS error, as seen in the other screenshot. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

You might be making things more difficult then needed.

If you choose the MX page, you can choose to use external mailserver, and there you can select "Microsoft 365" and the records will be created for you automatically.

Yes I think you're right. I think i did do this at one point and now all the entries are fully populated. But now I have some duplicates from the ones I had entered manually before. I will see if I can remove the duplicates and post a screenshot of what's in there now to see if it looks correct to you. Forgive me, first time ever attempting this. Thanks for the assistance.

I think I have it setup as per the instructions but won't know for 24 hours I guess. Does this look correct to anyone? The bottom of the screenshot shows the settings I was instructed to use. The stuff blocked out in red is just an IP address, wasn't sure if that was safe to post in here or not. The IP address in the A records near the top were different than the IP address in the TXT entry. Not sure if that is correct or not. It's really all another language to me. lol

Seems good to me. It should be no problem to remove the duplicate records you made and as far as I can see, you already managed that.

Forgive you for what? We all had to start once and this is what the forum is for. So for the assistance, you're welcome.

Seems things look good now. It might even take less than 24 hours. Often after 4-6 hours things are already working (sometimes sooner). The 24 hours is just a minimum to be sure it works around the world.
