Hi,
Im a bit confused with this cert install eaven after reading through some of the previous posts.

The user/domain has a static ip. I went into the ssl portion of direct admin created entered the domain users information and then saved it and then up came the certificate request key. I copy and pasted that into godaddys form and submitted it. It was a success and I received the zip file from them containing two things:
sf_issuing.crt
www.mydomain.com.crt

In reading through this forum I was under the assumption that I was to receive two keys in which I would paste into the direct admin ssl control panel and that was that.

Could somebody please help me on what I am supposed to do from here with these two files?

Excuse my ignorance on the subject.

Thank you very much for the help.

GoDaddy has low prices but zero support :( .

The "Paste a pre-generated certificate and key" field should have been populated with a key when you ordered the Certificate Request.

www.mydomain.com.crt is the cert you're supposed to paste under the "key". So paste it there and click on "Save" to continue.

When finished navigate back to the SSL page and click on "Click Here to paste a CA Root Certificate".

My guess is that's where the sf_issuing.crt gets pasted.

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I did read previously regarding the lacking of support given by godaddy and hence I wanted to purchase the cert from your company.
I personally didnt choose godaddy and now its biting me.

According to Direct Admin. Inorder to properly install a certificate, I need to paste two keys. One under the private key and then the CA where it states to "click here". Is that correct?

Yes... but...

You only need the CA cert if you get one from your provider. In the case of GoDaddy, you did. See my previous response.

Okay, Ive opened up the certificates that they sent me in notepad and then pasted the domain.crt key under the rsa key while making sure I checked the radio button and then clicked "save". Next pasted the CA root cert key after "click here" to paste and saved all of that.
After that I was good to go.

Thank you for the help jlasman.

I've let my co-workers know to contact me so that I can contact you should we need any further certificates or anything of the like.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

We always charge the lowest possible price consistent with the support we offer.
