Turning /domains/default/ on/off?

Hello,

In /domains/default/ I have a complete shop and by adding an user the shop will be installed.

But here's the problem. In some cases I don't want to automatically add the files from /domains/default/ when I add an user. So is there a way to put /domains/default/ off in some cases? Like for a specific Package, or with the API, or with some other setting.

I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance!

There may be an easier solution, but I think your going have to put the store in another directory, and use the API to check for 'package' then copy store.
