Two NIC

I have two NICs in my server. I also have a pool of 5 IPs for use with this server.

What is the best way to manage this? Should I put all the IPs on one NIC or spread them over both NICs?

In the past the second NIC was the gateway for a small office network. I no longer need/desire to feed the office network through the server.

I do intend to host DNS on this server so it will have two IPs assigned to it. I'm not worried about DNS loss because if the DNS goes down odds are the server is also down so no one will be getting to the sites hosted on the server.

Use only one NIC. Turn the other off in the BIOS if it makes you feel better, but if it's disconnected it doesn't draw much in the way of resources.

That way DirectADmin will automatically handle all IP#s (and future ones added) without you having to intervene.
