UI times out when clicking on E-Mail Accounts

I have one user which gets timed-out when he Clicks on: CP->domain->Email->E-Mail accounts

I can reproduce the issue with his account, but no other account.

What could be causing the timeout?

Not sure if this will help, but have you tried increasing the 'Timeout' option in Admin settings?

Thanks for the suggestion. I bumped it up from the default 60 seconds, to 120 seconds, and it still times out.

I'm thinking even with a 60 second timeout, nothing should really take that full time to load.

recently converted to dovecot and the user's system file had hundreds of thousands of emails. cleaning the directory up fixed the issue.

I just have the same issue on an account on one server.
after checking /home/user/Maildir/new it's have a couple million of files inside.
most mail is crontab error report that set to run every minutes send to default email account that's never check.

You've found the problem.

Huge mailboxes will timeout. Better to clean them up from a shell login (not easy, either, for huge mailboxes).
