Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

My DA is new install, before some problem need reinstall libaio

when I install joomla, program report: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL
I login phpmyadmin > status, Aborted connects is 1

How I can correct mysql?

Hello,

You might need to check mysql/apache/php logs in order to find more details.
Make sure of course that MySQLd is running you can connect it from ssh.
