from ssh console under root:
passwd USERNAME
then log in to panel and update from there too, because from console password resets only for DA and SSH, not for ftp/phpmyadmin

@Zhenyapan @binyun also make sure that you re-enter the same password in GUI or you will have this issue with backup restoration that will not use password changed via terminal:
