If I'm using DA on a shared hosting server where many customers share one IP address and I have, for example, 5 customers that have different IP addresses (because they need https), then do I need to purchase 6 licenses for that server (one for each IP address)?

Since Apache, Postfix, etc. are installed only once, how does this work if multiple licenses are needed on a single server?

Hello,

You need a single license on a single server/box/VM. If you host an amount of IPs within one Linux box, then you need only one copy of Directadmin for it.

@fatbear:

Go for it; build yourself a 32-core linux computer with 30 TB of drive space hosting a few /24 subnets; you'll only need one DirectAdmin license. Unless of course you break it up into VPS instances; in that event you should contact DirectAdmin sales for special VPS licenses.

Note that
